Our ignition systems are constantly put to lastingness tests. A couple of running simulators work 24 hours a day recreating very different situations in the life of a part for more than 1000 hours. We have also various teams running in different types of competitions, where expert drivers help us making them harder, softer, sweeter and more resistant.

The ignition of the LEONELLI systems can be done by conventional systems (2 sparks per turn), or through hall effect sensors (1 spark per turn), achieving also variable maps in the ignition, both analogical and digital.

We do a more detailed study depending on the type of vehicle where the system will be installed. We analyse the ignition and low tension, where we assess the mechanical features depending on the engine type (r.p.m., inertia, etc...), and also electrical (bulb consumption, battery charge, electrical starting, etc...), depending on all the vehicle needs.

Part of our research is focused on getting more precise and better ignitions, obtaining considerable reductions of “CO” polluting emissions without reducing the features of the equipment.
